As you enter the town of Terrigal along Ocean View Drive, driving past Wamberal Lagoon with Norfolk Pines defining a clear path around the bay, you can't help by sigh with pleasure at the panoramic views of the glistening ocean before you. Terrigal is located 15km east of Gosford and is bordered by Wamberal to the north and North Avoca to the south.
Terrigal is arguably, the 'food capital' of the coast. With so many restaurants and cafes offering a large variety of local and international cuisine you will have difficulty deciding what to eat. Once you have made that decision, you will then need to decide whether to eat in, alfresco or take-away, sounds all too difficult ? Well it is, but enjoyable ! Head to the Esplanade to visit one of the many boutique style shops that have a definite cosmopolitan feel. There is also plenty happening at night from dinner shows and night clubs to hip bars as well a several clubs offering activities and entertainment.
The area plays host to many annual events, including Octoberfest. The Skillion, a very steep east facing headland, were children and adults alike brave the climb to the top lookout and admire the magnificent views of the ocean and coastline. There is plenty to do in Terrigal, beach swimming (patrolled beaches through the summer months), a rockpool, fishing, world class scuba diving and whale watching (seasonal).

Uniquely tucked away behind the surf and pines, a sixty metre stroll across the golden sands of Terrigal Beach is all that separates the Clan Lakeside Lodge from the Pacific Ocean. Our 32 guest rooms are are NRMA four star rated, and are recently refurbished throughout. The property has a range of double/twin share rooms and 6 family rooms. Seven rooms are appointed with kitchens. Our 21 waterfront rooms all have extensive views of the lake and beach through large glass sliding windows and doors. Ground floor waterfront rooms allow access directly onto the beach, with upstairs having individual balconies with views over the lake to the beach. Family rooms have a separate second bedroom with two single beds and will accommodate two adults and two to three children. All rooms are fitted with air conditioning, colour TV, FREE Foxtel, direct dial telephone, Internet connection, refrigerator & tea making facilities.Convenient on site car parking is provided for all rooms.
